Sweep modes

Three ways to play.

Pick the mode when you create your sweep. Each one plays out differently — and NGS & LGS each have two flavours.

First Goal Scorer. One draw at kick-off. Whoever's player scores the very first goal wins. Done. Simple as it gets.

⚽
NGS

Next Goal Scorer. A winner is declared for every goal scored. Great for high-scoring games — you could win multiple rounds.

LGS

Last Goal Scorer. Only the final goal matters. The lead can change with every goal — anyone can win until the final whistle.

A — Single Draw

Everyone is drawn a player once at kick-off. Your player sticks for the whole game. Simpler, more traditional sweepstake feel.

B — Redraw

Players are redrawn before each goal counts. More chaos, more comebacks — anyone can win at any moment.

Is it actually free?
Yes. Completely. No entry fees, no in-app purchases required to play. There are optional ads (which you can ignore) but the sweepstake itself costs nothing. Always.
How many people do I need?
Anywhere from 2 to 21 — it works for any group size. Each match has up to 21 slots (20 outfield players plus a No Goalscorer). The draw always distributes forwards first, then midfielders, then defenders — so if there are only 4 of you, everyone gets a mix of 4–5 players spread across the pitch rather than one person getting all the strikers. The more people you have, the fewer players each — but the draw is always fair.
What happens if my player gets substituted?
If a substitute scores, we trace back to whoever held the player who came off — so you're still in it. No one loses out because of a tactical change.
What's the No Goalscorer slot?
Every sweep includes a No Goalscorer slot. If the game ends 0-0, or a goal comes in a round where nobody scores from open play, whoever drew No Goalscorer wins that round. It's fairer than just having no winner.
Do my friends need to download the app to join?
No — you add them directly from your contacts when you create the sweep. They're in automatically, no action needed from them. If they want to see their allocated player, watch the live pitch view, and set up their footballer card, they'll want to download the app — but that's their choice, not a requirement.
Can I run multiple sweeps at once?
Absolutely. Run a different sweep for every game, with different groups of people. All your active sweeps live in the app together.
